Osseointegration:<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0This is the process that occurs when the jawbone fuses to the implant post due to stimulating new bone growth.<\/p>\n

Subperiosteal Implant:<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0This form of implant sits on top of the jaw, which uses a metal framework that protrudes through the gum tissue. It is often used when there is a significant loss to bone height.<\/p>\n

Titanium:<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Now, most dental implant posts are made from titanium because it is a biocompatible material. It is also lightweight and strong, allowing it to stay in place for several years with the right care.<\/p>\n
